How do I prepare for my appointment?

Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment as we will require you to fill out a client information form. It is advisable not to eat or consume alcohol directly before your massage. If you suffer from low blood sugar or low blood pressure we advise you to eat something 3 hours prior to your appointment.

Is it okay to have a massage or treatment if I am feeling sick?

This will depend on the symptoms you are experiencing, please call and advise your therapist how you are feeling and they will discuss your options with you.

Why am I feeling worse after my deep tissue massage?

Muscle fibres can take 2-3 days to settle from a Deep Tissue Massage. For your benefit we advise that you follow your practitioners after treatment suggestions such as icing. Icing the injury for 40 minutes every 2 hours will substantially aid the healing process.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

Given the busy nature of our business we have a cancellation list with clients who are waiting for available appointments. If sufficient notice is given (24 hours minimum) a fee will not be charged at the discretion of your therapist.

How many sessions will I need?

For your initial appointment, there will be a full evaluation of your health and condition. Your practitioner will then discuss how many sessions will be required for your recovery.
